The “George Bush” in Pristina has already received a different view. On both sides of the road, last-year lodges have been placed, while the municipality has started preparing for other elements to be located there. Currently, the municipality has begun fleeing the sidewalk in the middle of the road, for which municipality deputy head Alban Zogaj has confirmed to Radio Kosovo that they are a preparation for the big square.
The subx0->Comuna has started to take it across the street, it's also needed for last-year celebrations, but on the other hand, it's also prepared for the big square that will be up to the cathedral in the near future. This is also a good test of how communications will work during this festive period of”, Zogaj stressed for Radio Kosovo.
He says as planned, the road will open for cars on January 8th, but that procurement procedures will be opened to continue the major project of the square.
“to finalise this project must start procurement procedures, because that project has cost and needs to be planned. This will happen in the spring of next year, so that finalisation of the project as a whole will last during the summer until the fall of 2023”, he added.
By contrast, from November 26th to January 8, 2023, the Boulevard “George Bush” will be closed for traffic, since the municipality has turned it into a festive environment for the end of the year.
