“After the Kosovo Government's decision to distribute the Municipal Framework in Zvecan and Leposaviq, following consultation with political parties and given that the Central Election Commission will have enough time for the organisation and prosperity of the elections, Kosovo Republic President Vjosa Osmani, in line with deadlines and legal obligations, set December 25th, the date of early elections for the Zvecan Parliament and the Leposavix1>, the presidency has announced.
It has invited political subjects for calm, tension-free campaign, respecting the Elecoral Code and political rivals.
The elections for the Municipal Assembly of Zvecan and Leposaviqi will be held following the resignation of members of the municipal assembly and their distribution on November 18th by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
