This European institution has declared that a visa liberalisation compromise is near.
“We are very close to a compromise in the Council of the European Union on the issue of visa liberalisation for Kosovo. The date we work with is currently 01.01.2024”, said in the statement about Clankosova.tv.
A meeting of the Working Group for Visas within the Council of the European Union is also held in Brussels today.
According to the announcement by the agenda of the works published for today's first starting point of the agenda was the discussion on visa liberalisation for Kosovo.
This is the third time the Working Group for Visas discussed the removal of the visa regime for Kosovo citizens to the Schengen Zone.
