CEC allocates over half a million euros for extraordinary elections in northern municipalities

The budget approved by the CEC for this election is 556 thousand and 482 euros.

At this meeting, the CEC took place to approve the operational plan for organising elections.

Some of the main activities ahead of this operational plan are like the following:

a) The deadline for application for certificate of political subjects and candidates for voter turnout begins on November 15th and ends on November 21st 2022;

b) The deadline for statements of participation in elections through the coalition begins on November 15th and ends on November 17th 2022;

c) The deadline for statements by political parties for non-participation begins on November 15th and ends on November 19th 2022;

d) The deadline for presenting improvements/reforms by political subjects begins on November 25th and ends on November 26th 2022;

e) The deadline for decision-making of the CEC for the Certificate of political subjects and candidates is on November 26th 2022;

f) deadline for withdrawal of political subjects begins on December 4th and ends on December 5th
2022? g) The date for keeping lots for rankings on the ballot of candidates and political subjects is on December 7, 2022;

h) The deadline for setting restrictions on election campaign spending begins on November 15th and ends on November 19, 2022;

i) The election campaign as well as the deadlines for election gatherings begin on December 8th and ends on December 16th 2022;

n) Surrendering the request for accreditation of observers of local, international and media NGOs begins on November 15th 2022 and ends on December 13th, 2022;

k) Surrendering the request for accreditation of policy subject observers begins on November 27th and ends on December 12th 2022;

I) The appointment of the Municipal Election Commissions begins on November 15th and ends on 24th.

m) Publishing of the polling stations list is done no later than December 7th 2022;

n) The term for changing polling centre within the municipality begins on November 29th and
ends on December 4, 2022;

O) The deadline for rejection and confirmation of the voter list begins on 2 December and
ends on December 4, 2022;

p) Application for voter registration outside Kosovo begins on November 26th and ends on November 30, 2022;

q) The deadline for certificate of the final voter list takes place on 8 December 2022;

r) Post voting period for registered voters outside Kosovo starts at 9
December 16th 2022;

S) Application for registered home voters starts November 26th and ends on December 1, 2022;

to) The deadline for registering voters with limited movement in any institution and voters under separate circumstances begins on December 9th and ends on December 13th 2022;

At this meeting, the CEC approved the budget plan for organising these elections. The budget approved by the CEC is in value: 556 thousand and 482 euros. As required by law, both election rounds are planned with this budget.
