Brnabyk said the subject was the license plate issue. She has said Borrell and Lajcak agree there must be neutral plates in Kosovo, but that they can do nothing against the Kosovo government's decision, reports Serbian television “RTS”.
I have spoken in Berlin with Josep Borrell of Miroslav Lajcak for reregistering the plates in Kosovo and M. Albin Kurti has violated all agreements from 2011, 2016 and 2021, and has unilaterally cancelled the neutral KS license plates. They agree that it is and that there must be neutral plates to status, but they can't do anything. It's devastating to me.
It has added that the Association of Serb-run municipalities has not been established for ten years now.
“Kurti said he would not implement the Brussels Agreement and on the other hand we are pressured to go with other or final agreements, whatever you call it. How can a deal not be implemented 10 years ago. This is also about the credibility of the EU, because apart from the signatures of Belgrade and Pristina, it is also the signing of the EU”, Brnabiq said.
Brnabyq has added that the agreements reached at the Berlin Summit are important for youth in the region.
She says the agreement on recognition of ID has no impact on agreeing to this issue within the Kosovo dialogue Serbia.
It was hard enough to negotiate, but we did it. This has no impact on what we have agreed on IDs, which preserves Serbia's citizenship in Kosovo and M, and facilitates the lives of Serbs in Kosovo. This is important”, Brnabyq said.
