Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has said that with deep concern she is forwarding reports on flagrant interventions in the case known as “Brezovica”.
The claims under this case are among the most important in the fight against corruption since declaring independence”.
Haxhiu says that despite the principle of presumption of innocence, any reasonable suspicion of interference in the investigative process on the part of the official person should be investigated not only as disciplinary violations but also as criminal acts.
“The use of official duty and the exercise of influence to prevent investigative processes constitute a cancer in our justice system, a cancer we all need together to end and that as soon as”, Haxhiu wrote. /Periscopi/
