The current geopolitical environment makes it even more necessary to overcome past heritages and engage in meaningful negotiations for the important things for Kosovo, Serbia, their people and the entire region dealt with the normalisation of relations between the two sides as the key factor for moving forward on their European” path, Borrell said at these meetings, according to the European Foreign Action Service (EEAS).
Borrell will report before the EU Council of Ministers on November 14th for his discussions at two meetings with Kurti and Vucinqi, as well as will give his analysis of the situation between the two countries.
At his meeting with Borrell and Lajcak, Vucicici said he discussed the current situation in Kosovo, Serbia's path towards the EU and Serbia's harmonisation of foreign policies with those of the EU.
