EU High Representative Joseph Borrell after leaving the meeting yesterday without something concrete, disappointed he said he would announce EU member states, for failing to comply with obligations from the parties, adding that this applies especially to Kosovo.
“I will inform the EU member states, foreign ministers and our partners of non-constructive behaviour of the parties and a complete lack of respect for their international legal obligations, and this is especially valid for Kosovo. This sends a very negative political signal” said Borrell.
Whatever the case, Prime Minister Albin Kurti decided late last night to comply with US Ambassador Jeff Havenier's request to extend the 48-hour term for fines around the plates.
