Biselim creation EU on the license issue: They Had Unprogressive Attitude

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi declared in an interview for Kosovo RTK, that it was an unprogressive stance by the European Union, when instead of focusing on implementing the Targa decision, more have been taken by November 1st. According to Bislim, this date has nothing to do with the Brussels agreement. “

According to Bislim, this date has nothing to do with the Brussels agreement.

“I think November 1st has gained weight that does not deserve”, Deputy Prime Minister Bislim said, under which it happens for two reasons.

The first “is due to the concern that existed in the international community for the destructive potential Government has in Serbia, which is eager to create unrest in the north and along with that, including the powerful dezinforming campaign, including threats to Serbian citizens”, said Bislimi, adding that such actions have reduced the willingness of Serbian citizens to convert their illegal license plates into legal ones.

The “E, on the other hand, from a probably not much of the EU's principled stance, which from the very beginning, rather than focusing on supporting the implementation of this decision, have been taken on the date of November 1st”, Bislim said.

He says there has been debate from the beginning on the part of EU representatives, where the need to delay the deadline has been set, and there has been no real argument on that.

Otherwise, November 1st is like any other date, where we have a government decision that has nothing to do with the Brussels Agreement and dialogue, because the decision was made when the dialogue process in Brussels has ended without success, in finding a final solution”.

Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bismini declared that for this reason, now that there is only the end of the deadline, then the next deadlines are now running.

Given the Kosovo Government's decision, the plan for the issue of license plates issued by Serbia -- containing acronyms of Kosovo cities -- will be implemented in several phases.

The Kosovo Government plan, published on 28 October, envisions as early as 21 April of next year “be removed” all plates that are not the RKS- Republic of Kosovo.

Thus, for three weeks, from November 1st to November 21st, the measure will be the one of reproof.

Then, from November 21st, for two months until January 21st, will be the penalty measure.

Later, on January 21st, there will be test plates for two more months.

The whole end of April 21 can no longer be seen with vehicles that circulate with such plates.

Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla, but other Kosovo officials have repeatedly called on Kosovo Serb citizens to convert illegal plates with legal ones.
