Kosovo and Serbia continue to place stickers on state symbols in cars with license plates of respective countries during entry at border points.
In Kosovo's case, not applying such a move brings fines for drivers. But in Kosovo municipalities in the north of the country, the situation is different.
The RTK team standing in northern Mitrovica has seen dozens of vehicles that apart from carrying illegal license plates, KM, do not even keep stickers on plates, on state symbols.
In northern Mitrovica, dozens of parked or moving vehicles do not carry stickers, while there is no record of whether the same fines were fined.
Currently, the situation in the country's four municipalities in the north is calm, although dozens of Kosovo police in the Serb community have abandoned the task of official Belgrade.
Serbia rejects Kosovo's decision to replace illegal KM license plates with those RKS legal plates.
