The EU-Kosovo Parliamentary Commission for Stabilisation has held the second working session.
Austrian Eurodeput Lucas Mandl said dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade is dialogue between the two states and not between the two cities.
According to him, it is important that the European Union mediates dialogue, while adding that they can be constructive but also critical of how the dialogue is continuing. He even says he should not underestimate the US's positive role in dialogue.
He said the liberalisation issue is too late.
“Agenda says dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade. I know this language very well, but I guess this is not the dialogue between two cities. We want to make it clear first that it is the dialogue between the two states, the state of Kosovo and Serbia”.
