Attempting the attack on SBASK Chairman: Rexhepi called me a traitor and he pissed me off

Prosecutor Blerim Igrista has said the prosecution considers that during this trial, it will prove that accused Rexhepi has committed the criminal act described as in the indictment.

And we will be able to hear witnesses describing the incident of the critical day, and we have also attached video recordings from the site of the event, which is well seen, and we believe that after hearing and elaborating evidence here before you, we will convince the court that the accused committed a criminal act”, prosecutor Igrista said.

This prosecutor's statement was supported by the injured Jasharaj, who added that he continues to feel hurt in the case.

On the other hand, the defender of the accused Rexhepi, lawyer Tome Gashi, said that during this review the innocence of his defense would be proven.

“During this trial will be proven, one billion per cent that Musli Rexhepi has committed no criminal offence, but is a victim of the judicial system and during this trial the court will prove that Mr. Musli Rexhepi has committed no criminal offence”, said lawyer Gashi.

And the accused Rexhepi supported this statement.

The next session in this case was scheduled to be held on November 23, 2022.

Otherwise, on September 7th of this year the accused Rexhepi had been declared innocent of the burden of criminal acts.

The indictment says that the accused attempts to attack him but is prevented from attending, and the victim has caused uncertainty.

By that, Rexhepi is accused of committing criminal work “Cenim of the strike law”, by Article 221, par.1 of the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code.
