Arifi for Periscope: Kurti government has supported us, but it has divided us further.

Today it is being celebrated in every country where it has Albanians and breathes Albanian. Albania today celebrates 110 years of state, and meanwhile by political figures and different personalities, there is a call for Albanians to be more united. When we talk about the unification of Albanians, the Presevo Valley is not forgotten, where November 28 is being celebrated [...]
So said Periscope head of the Presevo Valley, Shqirim Arifi, in an interview.
The first of Presevo said that this year Albanians there are celebrating, even though this November is finding them in more serious situation than other years.
Arifi also sharply criticised both governments, as he says it “the biased geox1> being made into the Valley. There was even charges that the Kurti government is getting involved in the division of the political spectrum in Presevo.
“like this year and November 28th is celebrated and celebrated in the Presevo Valley, but once more this year the lack of presence of the Albanian state or even of the Republic of Kosovo in the Presevo Valley is being highlighted. This year, the prescheves have spent with a Kosovo republic and with a government that has not been unified and has not been constructive in the Presevo Valley, thus adding once more to the heavy situation in the Presevo Valley instead of facilitating it and being constructive. In general today is a festive day and Albanians here in the Valley celebrate it above all the problems and challenges we have towards Serbia, and among themselves on Albanian soil, yet this day will unify us”
Support is not taking Valley from the Government of Kosovo or Albania. I think it's been neglected to an extreme extent which questions what the reason is, or is the inability or is the biased neglect of the Presevo Valley. The Kosovo government this year has set a precedent where it is directly involved in the division of the political spectrum in the Presevo Valley, so let's not support us but has divided us further. And Albania is characterised this year through its ambition in political processes, namely in parliamentary elections the same as it was in 2020. In this context Kosovo and Albania in the Presevo Valley are abstract and are de constructive”, Arifi said.
Presevo chairman received criticism for the Kurti Government, which last year had allocated 2m euros for the Valley, but these vehicles have not yet been transferred.
“The government Kurti 2 is true that has allocated 2m euros in the past year, but through its direct involvement in the political spectrum by dividing it with each other has not transferred the 2 million euros yet, rather it has misused it even in the campaign that was three weeks ago when the National Council elections were, where it has promised them 2 million euros only to one party yet moved. In this context, the government Kurti 2 with the 2m euros that has originally had the good goal, has now deviated from the good purpose of a divisive goal and adulation of its influential structure through a party that is a third largest party in Presheva Valley”, he told Periscope.
Asked about the situation in Kosovo after Kurti's decision on license plates and the dialogue process, Arifi said the Kurti government has entered a dead end, until he added that “dialog in Kurti Government is not a dialogue that solves problems but creates problems, which is like a communist mentality that has created more problems that have solved”.
“I see a political strategy of Kurti that resembles a target goal, a step forward two back, and I think that the plates are not a priority in Kosovo's policies in the context of dialogue, but reciprocity should be found not through license plates, but first human rights where it becomes a very simple comparison with the Presevo Valley and Albanians there, which is not happening now and we have the government when 2 entered into a deadlock with the tax between the international pressures and then the <x> puts the threat to the Presevo Valley and the Albanians, which is going to me when there's no political leader of this valley, but when we're not a certain political leader, but when we're divided by a certain political leader, when we're not a political leader, but we're not a political leader in this valley. Kosovo's government is characterised by internationals as a nursery government that does not take political responsibility and tries with simple maneuvers to take a step forward two back, thinking that in this form a oppression can be created on our international friends that for me as Presevo chairman is a very delicate and biased approach and nothing said in this form. For me dialogue in government Kurti 2 is not a dialogue that solves problems, but creates problems, which are like a communist mentality that has created problems that have solved” problems.
While Kurti had named former Presevo Mayor Ardita Sinan as political adviser for Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, Arifi said she does not see him involved in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Mrs. Sinan is a consultant, but it's a policy that's leading a small party here in the Valley, in this form for those of us who are political spectators in the Presevo Valley, it doesn't matter, but it's being misused by the Kurti government to divide even more the Presevo Valley, and I don't see that Mrs. Sinan is part of the dialogue, and if it's in the name of Kurt in our name it isn't. So in this context, I don't expect from the lady in question results”, Arifi said.
We remember that yesterday the Kosovo and Albanian assembly have held a joint meeting in Tirana to mark Albania's 110th anniversary of independence. /Iliriana Jylan-Periscope
