For the sake of the protest, about 1,000 effective police officers will be on alert, while some street axes will be closed since 1500.
Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha and other Democrat officials have not ruled out any kind of scenario for today's protest.
During a press conference with reporters yesterday, Berisha had a call for the State Police, where he demanded that he not revolt with the protesters, as they would voice their anger at the government.
Asked how long the protests will last, the chief Democrat said it would depend on the opposition people.
The Freedom Party and other opposition parties will also take part in the protest. The former president, Ilir Meta, has spoken with softer tones, saying the protest will be a citizen example.
This will be the first opposition protest since July 7th, and comes several months before the May 14th 2023 local elections. /euronews
