AKI says situation in the north is calm, but with the possibility of escalation

The chairman of this commission, MP from the ranks of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Ganimete Musliu, has said the security situation in the north is currently calm, but that the possibility of escalation exists.
“As far as the security situation is concerned, we can find out, given what we heard from the director, the security situation in northern Kosovo and in Kosovo is generally calm, but always with the possibility of escalation”, Musliu said.
She has said that more than ever co-operation and co-ordination of the actions of the country's security institutions, including police, are required. AKI, Security Council and all other government bodies in the country.
“We must be vigilant, cautious in any action we do there, not to provoke the situation. So far everything is under control and it's working. It is true that police stations there are empty, but Kosovo Police are in charge of duty and are taking care of maintaining order and quiet there”, Musliu stressed.
Musliu has suggested that the country's security institutions are in charge of office and are ready for any possible provocation.
According to her, like the Commission are unique in attitudes and that they have offered support to the AKI director for the situation created in the country.
