Agim Ramadan's wife relates the moment he decided to join the war
Dawn's got it. He gave up his job. He entered Kosovo as military on June 24, 1998, and settled in the Dukagjini Zone: Decan Bjeshks, Yunik, Yasipqi, Dycas, Batusha. The civilian population of these countries was at great risk by Serbian occupants and the minims of the areas here. He made the demining of the area, passing about 1500 children, women and elders across the border of Albania's conquered ethnice.
The woman, Shukry, says the decision to take part in the war didn't suit Agim.

His friends, his bliss with Hilmi, told me he was seriously injured. I didn't believe it. I told him he'd call me to tell me. We left for Albania. That's where they told me he was killed.
