A day after additional means were executed for public employees, involved in the Pack against inflation, representatives of private employees have demanded the same benefits from the state.
Union Chairman Yusuf Azemi through a communique for the media has said private sector workers in Kosovo are the category of the third group of humanity.
The “cannot be assessed differently than this, with great concern we received the news given by the government that only Kosovo public sector workers should be stimulated by 50 and 100 euros for three months, and in the private sector no. If anyone should be stimulated then they are private sector workers, they are poorer, they are with double smaller salaries, they are much less protected by law, they mostly finance the state budget”, said the communique.
This union reports that it has been addressed even through a letter, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, to lift the conditions for private companies.
The Kosovo government in measures to combat inflation has assisted public sector employees with 50 euros per three months in a row.
Of 100 euros have been allocated to pensioners, while 100 euros have also been promised to students and employees of public enterprises.
