Abdixhiku said that at these meetings, the latest political developments in Kosovo and the region discussed.
He added that in the Senate, they have applied for establishing bilateral co-operation between Kosovo and the United States through the Strategic Partnership Charter.
“As a member of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Senator Murphy has always been and remains active in our region. In this direction, our requests for support of the people of Kosovo, the institutions of the Republic, and our aspirations for membership in the NATO military alliance, were quite natural. Similarly, close co-operation in the area of foreign policy, energy and economic development was stressed at the meeting.
The support of Senate and Sentors from all sides has always produced historic moments for our country. This support for our country we keep searching for at all times”.
