“Artillery ammunition, rockets and high-accurate air defence systems, the tactical tools we are offering will best serve Ukraine in the field of battle”, Blinken said.
President Joe Biden has declared that he expects US aid to Ukraine to continue indefinitely, despite republican scepticism, which is expected to exploit the majority already enjoyed in the House of Representatives, following the Congress elections, to further monitor the aid issue.
So far the Biden administration has donated $19.7 billion to Ukraine, whose army is fighting for nine months with Russian forces.
On Wednesday, Russia continued missile attacks across Ukraine, causing civilian deaths and forcing authorities to shut down nuclear power plants. / A2 CNN
