More than 20 people died in Egypt after a minibus crashed into a ditch Saturday, about 100 kilometers north of the capital, Cairo, authorities said. More than 20 people died in Egypt after a minibus crashed into a ditch Saturday, about 100 kilometers north of the capital, Cairo, authorities said.
Egypt's Health Ministry confirmed that 18 ambulances were taken to the scene. The wounded were sent to two different hospitals in the province.
According to the first reports, the death toll is brought about 20 to 24. At least three children reportedly were among the dead.
Rescue teams could save 13 people from drowning in the canal.
