Russia has invaded the plant located in southern Ukraine in March, shortly after it began its invasion of this state, and Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered his government to take control of the plant.
The Zaporoija plant is the largest nuclear facility in Europe, and after the invasion, the Ukrainian staff has operated with it.
This case is about international law... we want the war to stop immediately, and of course the agency's position is that this building is Ukrainian building”, Grossi told reporters in Kiev.
The head of the International Nuclear Energy Agency is expected to travel to Russia after staying in Ukraine to meet with officials of this state.
Last month, Russia has declared annexing four Ukrainian regions: Donjeck, Luhansk, Herson and Zaporije. In these regions, Moscow has held false referenda, which have been condemned by Kiev and the international community. / REL
