Warning of his resignation, Rector of Upset: Tomorrow's Steering Council meeting is illegal

University of Pristina Rector Naser Sahiti has held a media conference where he has talked about recent developments at the UPP.

He at this conference said that since elections held in June for the UPI Steering Council, a candidate who has plagiarism has been elected.

He added that he had submitted the case to UP's organs, but they were not taken into account.

Sahiti added that the person in question is Selim Bezer, and he himself has denounced his case.

The first “issue is with the Steering Council, as a result of those elections of the Steering Council, a candidate who has plagiates in his doctorial work has been elected. There has also been a proposal by the minister on this issue, where she has said she will ask the Steering Council to report this case to the Ethics Council, despite that pledge the members have not denounced the case in the Ethics Council for the reason that we have no evidence”.

“O The RCA has offered enough evidence and has also asked the board to proceed further, but they have said to prosecute this case O RCA. After it comes to a very high position, it's Selim Bezer. I've seen reason for me to get my hands on the case and the case is on Ethics Council with the necessary evidence that the doctor is plagiarization”, he said.

The reactor spoke of yet another issue that the board of directors for Friday has called a meeting that, according to him, is illegal.

He also spoke of Education Minister Arberie Nagavci, who added that he had presented the problem to her as well, but she had nothing to do with the issue.

Members of the UP's Steering Council have initiated the dismissal of the UPP sector, Naser Sahiti.

In this regard, 19 civil society organisations that have been declared to denouncing any attempted dismissal of higher education institutions without being based on real findings of their possible abuses.
