On a proposal for PeriscopeVeliu deemed it another Government mistake and uncoordinated with internationals.
Uncoordinated decisions, with errors and concessions. Nor have I felt the decision to apply a decision properly, another mistake that has not been co-ordinated with the international factor, with our U.S. friends. Bad decision for Kosovo”, Veliu said
When they ( The US says they're disappointed there's no comment”, Veliu concluded.
U.S. Government disappointment.
After Kurt's decision on the plates, DAS went out with a communique, where toTheir disappointment with Kurti Government returned.
The United States of America, along with our international partners, urged the Kosovo government to extend the implementation period for the license decision. Kosovo has the right to implement the license regime under the Brussels Agreement, but extending the deadline is in the interest of progress in the EU facilitated dialogue for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations. The United States is disappointed and concerned that the Government of Kosovo has refused to do so by its international partners. Kosovo and Serbia must work urgently and flexiblely to reach a comprehensive agreement on normalised relations, with mutual recognition centred” said in response.
What does Kurt's new decision about license plates contain?
Yesterday Prime Minister Kurti announced the new decision on the license schedule, a decision accompanied by several additional measures.
The new plan presented by the Government envisions that after April 21st, no other license plates will be allowed that are not RKS.
For three weeks, starting on November 1st through November 21st, the measure will be the one to blame. Then, from November 21st, for two months until 21st, it will be the penalty measure and then from January 21st, we will have proteges for another two months, after which the date, on April 21st, cannot have because no other license plates can be allowed in the Republic of Kosovo”, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said during the cabinet meeting. /Iliriana Jylan-Periscope
