Goncharenko said he will do everything possible for Ukraine to recognise Kosovo's independence.

I'll do whatever's in my power to help you out on this”, Goncharenko added.
Like Kosovars in 1998-1999, Goncharenko said Ukrainians are fighting for their independence.
We feel very close to you, because even Kosovars have gone through genocide. Ukrainians are going through this now. Kosovars have fought for their independence and we are now fighting for our independence”, he said.
The MP on August 5th had handed over to the Ukraine Parliament a resolution seeking his country to recognise Kosovo's independence.
