She says this issue should be discussed by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and internationals.
The moment the international community, Kurti and Vuciq sit seriously and make arrangements, primarily with Belgrade, will be changed. When Belgrade decides no longer to issue license plates to Serbs from the north and not to extend the registration of those plates, the problem will be solved”, Trajkovic told the Serbian newspaper “Danas”.
Kurti yesterday decided not to extend the deadline for license plates as the US and EU requested, but he modified it and divided it into three phases.
At the government's second meeting this week, we clarified implementation of the Targa decision, which begins on November 1st. Splitn to three stages and steps, implementation initially begins with the measure of warning until 21 November. Then with the measure of fine from November 21st, 2022 to January 21, 2023. On January 21st, 2023 to April 21, 2023, promotion plates for cars with illegal license plates will be imposed. Meanwhile, after April 21, 2023, the flow of cars with illegal license license plates will not be allowed, Kurti said.
