Resit Kushaj of the SBASK Grevis Council has said that by tomorrow they will wait for the reason why the government has not executed wages.

Until tomorrow, they have a deadline to hand in their decision on how they have made the excuse for not giving their salaries”, Kushaj told Express.

He said they would not talk about relaunching the strike, but only about legal action.

Whether the United Education and Science Union will respect the new calendar the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Information has proposed during the five-week strike is not yet known.

The chairman of this union, Nundman Jasharaj, said the government would first have to proceed wages for September and then sit down and discuss all topics.

He said that Education Minister Arberie Nagavci has been quick to come up with the new calendar, as it has initially had to engage in salary proceedings.

The Minister instead had to commit to having salary proceedings, because civilian servants were on strike and they were out of September's wages. The minister initially commit to prosecution of wages and then sit down, because the collective contract confirms that hours lost in the strike are not compensated. However, this contract does not rule it out because it says that unless the two sides agree otherwise”, Jasharaj has said.

Jasharaj stressed that after receiving salaries for September, the United Union will ask teachers to decide.

The head of the United Education Union stressed that each educator is making maximum commitments to have fewer missing teaching units.

Nighman Jasharaj, in the end, said they are indignant at the Government's move to execute wages for workers of other sectors.

He expects good news these days.

“We are indignant that the Government has prosecuted wages for other sectors, while for education sector workers not. There were other sectors on strike. We call on the government to execute wages, as there are teachers who are in difficult conditions and who also have loan”.

We expect to have good news in these two days. Let's hope we get our salaries”.
