In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Pais, Rusdie Literary Agent Andree Wile said the 75-year-old injuries were “deep” and that “had lost sight in one of the”.
“He had three heavy wounds on his neck”, said Sylie.

Julie refused to find out if Rusdie remained in the hospital, saying he couldn't provide any information on his whereabouts.

Rushdie spent about a decade hiding behind the publication of his satanic Verses in 1988, since many Muslims view him as blasphemy.
The person accused of stabning Salman Rushdie has been acquitted of charges of attempted murder.
Hadi Matar, 24, is being held in custody while awaiting trial.
