From the Romanian Football Federation, they said they would speak to the Romanian government and then come up with a final decision.
While, Romania's former foreign minister, Theodor Melescanu, went even further, demanding that this state's national state refuse to play with Kosovo even if it loses three points, in the fact that this country does not recognise Kosovo's citizenship and independence.
Meanwhile, the issue has been discussed by National of Romania's Selector Eddy Ird '%nescu.
He hopes that a solution will be found as soon as possible and the team will play at home, as at all other meetings.
“First, this topic is out of my scope. There is already a negotiating channel between the Federation of Football and the Romanian Government, which will come up with a clear decision or conclusion. We want to play at home, with our fans in the stands. At the moment, I can't say more about this matter”, the Romanians' selector said at the press conference.
If the Romanian Federation does not allow this country's National to play with Kosovo, there could be serious sanctions from U EFA, up to the exception.
Along with Kosovo and Romania, Switzerland, Israel, Belarus and Andorra are also part of the Euro-2024 Eliminator Group.
The European Championship qualifying matches will be fought between March and November 2023.
