Dietrich Mateschitz died today at the age of 78 after a long and serious illness.
For nearly 30 years, Red Bull's chief from Styria and his liquor company have supported every possible series of car races from Forum 1 at the World Rally Championships, World Championships NASCAR and DTM Superbike and Motocross, as well as Rally Dakar and as a reliable partner for factory teams KTM, Austrian media have reported.
