In October 2020, ass. Luljets Mandelli Kasumi, now U.S. Rector of UPA, had been selected to be a prod at the Jurydic faculty.
According to the decision provided by Metro newspaper ass. Luljetj Mandelli Kasumi has been elected to a prod on October 7, 2020 with a four-year term, in advance by September 30th, 2024.
But the appointment of Lulujet Manly-Kassum, as the prod of the Jurydic faculty, was in conflict with the UPA statute.
Article 68, point 2, clearly details how candidates are chosen for the post of dean and prodek.
“The candidates for the post of dean and prodekan should be individuals with academic relevant qualifications and have leadership skills and experience, as well as have at least the call of assistant professor”, said at point 2 Article 68.

So according to this article, the choice of Luluette Manly-Cassum, as a prod of the Jurydic faculty, has been contrary to the statute.
