The 34-year-old midfielder, who has spent most of his career in Italy, signed a two-year agreement with the first-class Belgian team Antwerp this summer after his contract with Inter was cut off with mutual consent, writes Periscopi.
But things have not gone exactly right for Nainggolan in his long-awaited return to Belgium.
Last week, he reportedly was arrested as he was driving when he expired his driver's license, Reuters reports.
And on Sunday, the experienced midfielder was seen smoking an electronic cigarette while sitting in the reserve bank.
He was placed on Sunday's 3-1 losing bench against Standard Leege after William Balykweisa's goals, Denis Dragus and Cihan Canak sealed a decisive victory for the local team.
