Democratic Party of Kosovo MP (PDK) Hajdar Beqa in an interview for Online Economy has said that citizens are facing high prices and energy shortages every day. He has even accused Government of not having yet a contract to secure the cheaper price for energy as other states have provided.
We have information that, in addition to facing each day as citizens of this country at high prices, with inflation with lack of energy and claims that we will have a difficult winter due to lack of electricity, we have seen that they have sometimes declared a state of emergency and that they have not yet managed to have a contract to secure at a cheap price, as other states have provided the power supply to the citizens, said Beqa.
While the Democratic League of Kosovo deputy (LDK), Valentina Bulnjaku-Rejepi in an interview for Online Economy, has said that there is no management in Kurti Government.
According to her, Prime Minister Albin Kurti Kosovo has received it ready but I am not sure how to guide it, so it says it needs co-operation with the opposition.
Bulnjaku-Rexagepi said proposals they have made to get out of the economic crisis have been rejected by the Kurti Government.
“Prices are alarming. Even the price of bread has begun to rise and has nothing to do with management because Kosovo is operating alone. These have been called for 20 years that Kosovo has been destroyed. Kosovo has been taken ready and they are not aware of running”.
Mr. Kurti's paranoid and has a bit of an excess. A prime minister is required work of correct commitment and co-operation with the opposition of citizens and is now at the contrary of citizens. We have the impossible numbers to make the collapse of this government despite that we are not going to overthrow the government, but to co-operate with the opposition. We have provided proposals such as economic, energy and education crisis. But no LDK proposal has been taken into account”.
Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP (AAK), Pal Lekaj, stressed that Kosovo is in a deep economic crisis, even says there is no foreign investment.
He said the government must act immediately in order not to reach an economic blockade.
“As far as the economic crisis is known to be in a deep economic crisis when there is no development there is no investment of either the external or internal factor and the situation is alarming”.
If we look at the steps she took for social packages, it's just to buy time, but not to make economic development. So the government has to act and not get to an economic blockade. And when we look at price hikes, I think we're having a hard winter”. / EO/
