North Korea on Saturday launched two short-range ballistic missiles, marking the fourth test during the week, say South Korean and Japanese authorities.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said that North Korea's nuclear weapons co-operation is deepening his people's suffering until it warned of response from the armies of South Korea and the United States if such weapons are used.
The North Bay has not abandoned its obsession with weapons and nuclear missiles, despite international objections in the last 30 years. The development of nuclear weapons will spur even more suffering on the North Korean people”, Yoon said during the Day of Armed Forces ceremony.
“If North Korea claims to use nuclear weapons it will face overwhelming response from our army and alliances with the US”, South Korean president said, France24 broadcast Klanosova.tv.
The testing of missiles from North Korea during the week is being described as responding to the last naval exercises performed by South Korea and the US, as well as other exercises involving Japan. These military exercises are viewed by North Korea as provocation.
