“Kurti is putting Kosovo in positions contrary to international partners. The entire debate of the last few days has been focused on whether the Government's legitimate decision by November 1st will be implemented or the US's request to delay implementation will be met for 10 months. In the end, the prime minister has unilaterally decided to postpone the decision for nearly six months, withdrawing from his decision, but also bringing Kosovo to a unfavourable position in police with the US and other international partners”, Nikaj has said.
He said he would neither have RKS license plates in the north, while officially the US has expressed disappointment with the government's decision.
“Such a situation in relation to the US Kosovo has never had in the past. In the current geopolitical context, state maturity is necessary to coordinate actions with our international allies”.
