Mustafa criticises Kurti Government: State of Relief

In this case, he has called for an account, for according to him, untapped means form a form of corruption.

The former head of LDK has also spoken of the possibility that citizens will be allowed to withdraw 30 percent of the Pension Trust.

According to Mustafa, keeping more than 700m euros in government accounts is absurd, while saying Kosovo is facing the highest inflation rate.

This is harmful because inflation reduces the purchasing power of money. If inflation is 15 percent, then so much less will be the purchasing power of government money that remains untapped, and if we collect a budget of 3 billion euros over the year for all needs, that means that the value of this year's budget is not 3 billion but 2 billion and 600m euros, removing the component of inflation, because so much will remain the purchasing power of those money that have been collected”, Mustafa said.

So this is why the budget is abused and someone has to respond to damage to public money, just as it answers to corruption because it is a form of corruption because it harms public money by not using it in time. The use of money in time is of great importance to an economy. I don't understand why you now keep more than 700m euros untapped, and capital investments have been blocked”, Mustafa escaped.

It has also criticised the executive's way of distributing the package.

There is no support state. The government must have stable policies, consistent, social and economic policies. Now we need active social policies, not passive policies, so policies that lead to economic development, promote private sector and promote employment, because now the Government is talking about employing 400,000 people, but 50 thousand people have fled and we don't know where they're hired, whether they're employed in Kosovo or abroad. In fact, there are no jobs in Kosovo, because there are no new openings in the public sector, and in the private sector, we have no investments that have enabled these jobs to be opened”, Mustafa has said.

Mustafa considers the opposition's effort to withdraw a percentage from the Pension Trust wrong. Mustafa has reasoned with the pandemic the initiative of the former government Hoti. He has said the legislature and executive should not allow this law to pass.

I've then seen the reason for the Trust's withdrawal because it was the pandemic, so there wasn't working the economy, there was no movement of the citizens, it couldn't go to work, but now the proposal which was from the opposition, I didn't like it, because there's always fear that we now spend our savings on citizens, because pensions are individual savings, it's not like it used to be that a generation pays, and the next generation gets, so now every one has their savings and when you retire for a certain period of time and exploits it. I didn't like this to happen and make the habit because that's how we're going to leave citizens without pensions”, Mustafa said. /EO/
