The trial against the two indictees was announced Friday by Judge Violet Husja-Rugova. Under the trial, Durim Lusaj for criminal work “grave murder” is sentenced to 24 years in prison, while for the second without permission, he is sentenced to two years in prison. The same, the court pronounced them a unique sentence of 25 years in prison.
On the other hand, Salih Lusaj for criminal work “grave murder” was sentenced to 17 years of brigmm, while for illegal weapons, two years in prison. The same was pronounced a unique 18 - year prison sentence. The damaged side, for realising the property-juridical demand, is directed to regular civil conflicts.
Judge Husja-Rugova announced that the accused are continuing the detention measure following the plea.
This criminal has been represented by former retired prosecutor Haxhi Sinanaj, while later passed to prosecutor Agron Galani, where the latter had withdrawn from representation after the injured had named the prosecutor as not an objective in handling the case.
For this murder, the Constitutional Court in Pec, on April 14, 2018, had convicted Durim Lushain and had pronounced him a unique 25 - year prison sentence for serious murder and illegal weapons. The guilty had also been declared Sali Lusaj, where he was sentenced to 18 years in prison for serious murder in co-ordination and possession without permission. The Court of Appeals, on July 3, 2018, had approved complaints of defenders of the accused as based and the case turned into retrial, due to essential violations of the criminal procedure and incomplete confirmation of the actual situation.
According to Pec's Constitutional Prosecutor's Act, Durim Lusaj was charged that on August 25, 2016, about 18:30, in the village of Sprothet of the Decani municipality, after a preliminary dispute with firearms has been deprived of life by R. R. According to the indictment, the same one after having deprived his life of R. R, and Sali Lushan are also charged with killing B.R., as well as with firearms.
According to the indictment, those with these actions have also threatened the lives of minor A.R. and M.R. Both of them were accused by the prosecution of committing the criminal offence of committing serious murder and criminal possession without permission.
