Murati: Someone can get paid without working

The Law on Strikes clearly emphasizes that during the time of individuals or employees on strike, the work relationship - namely, obligations from the work contract that has to do with work - but also the obligation to pay - is suspended. In other words, someone can get paid without working. So that's the point. On this basis, normally we should seek and make sure budgetary organisations respect the law. We've done it and we'll do it every time we see it or we know that there's a basis for suspicion of laws and there's a tendency for public money to be spent without complying with all laws in force”.
