For 10 months, about 3 thousand, 400 Kosovars gave up citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo

For almost 10 months of 2022, three thousand and 399 Kosovars have given up on other citizenship, the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo. During the period 01.01.2022, 30.09.2022, from the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, 3,399 persons have been set up, among other things, in response.
From this ministry, the ongoing trouble of material supply has also been confirmed to be equipped with Kosovo state passports.
” due to the global crisis, as well as pandemic with COVID-19, material supplies have been difficult. Like many other countries, we are having difficulty providing material supplies, these difficulties have caused the global crisis, as well as the pandemic with COVID-19”, it is said.
Such concern had been followed by Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy Elmi Recica.
According to the latter, lack of passport supply is causing exiles problems to be equipped with residence permits and in planning their trips back home.
However, the Kosovo Interior Ministry has indicated confident that it is dealing with cases that are urgently.
” The MPB is committed to providing all citizens with documents, and in particular cases that need urgent”, it is said by the ministry.
We remember that during 2021, four thousand and 600 Kosovars have given up their citizenship.
