In an interview for Austria Press Agency news agency, Mandl has stated that with visa liberalisation for Kosovo, the EU will advance dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The “should be clear that we will soon implement delayed visa liberalisation for the Republic of Kosovo, advance the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, overcome tensions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and also give this country, as well as Ukraine and the Republic of Moldova, candidate status”, Mandl says.
He adds: “is also an urgent and important step for a better future, to draw Serbian state leadership with European values and thus protect Europe”.
Mandl called for Kosovo to be recognised by its five non-recognising states within the European Union.
