Regarding this MP from the PDK ranks, Eliza Hoxha, said the laws had not to be seen in black and white, because there are other laws being applied to the law for strikes, separately to the division of competencies between the central and local levels, and in this case, teachers are employees at the local level rather than the central one, so in this case the employer is municipal and therefore the central level should not interfere with the competencies of the municipality.
She further clarified the law on the strike, where she mentioned Article 18 about the strike, with which she warned that executive institutions would be careful, especially in this case, because, as she said, we have a combination of competencies here, since the employer is a municipality.
“There will be criminal speculation unless wages are executed, as provided by the constitutional deadline”, said Eliza Hoxha, member of the Commission for Education at RTK.
