ZKM has announced that Kurti has said that “hopes these rewards will be additional incentives for students to continue following their own trends and passions”

The prime minister said he hopes these rewards will be additional incentives for students to continue following their trends and passions, and that school lessons and learned knowledge can then translate into valuable inventions, creative innovations and functional methods, wherever they will work in the future”, the statement said.

This ceremony is organised by August, while Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Nagavci have shared the awards for students who have participated in the National Mathematics Olympics, Republican Youth physicists Races, the Kosovo Mathematics Olympics Albania, the International Mathematics Olympics, Math Kangaroo and the European Mathematics Cup.

During his speech Kurt has shared a university memory.

And when I was a college student, remember, that a similar mathematical problem we solved and he was something like this: How many people should be minimally in a hall so that at least two of them can have the same birthday, are over 50 percent? And, if I'm not mistaken, the score is 23, but as you know, solving mathematical problems, it takes 3-4 pages to get to this final number”.

Kurt told me when math was in use.

I have been employed many times in my life, even in very difficult times, but even when I was in jail or in house arrest or in detention, I also have been able to solve equation systems with some unknowns so that I can keep my memory as fresh and active as possible and thus preserve logic. ”

As he finally thanked them for bringing good news to Kosovo”.

Thank you for bringing us good news in Kosovo, which is good for the present and future of our country. Congratulations again on the results of the success shown and wants you all good, and more success in your future, on which the future of our state and society depends. ”

Prime Minister Kurti's complete word:

Dear Minister of Education, Mrs. Arberie Nagavci,
Honored teachers and educators,
Dear parents,
Very dear students,

There are many people in this hall today, and if they were grouped into groups of ten, we would probably become dozens of sosh. If we were here more than 366 people, so as many days as it could have at least a year, if February was 29 days, the 367th person would be without an authentic and unique birthday even in the theoretical sense of the word. In this case, at least he and another one - minimally two persons - would have their birthday on the same date.

This may seem to be a very simple reasoning, as simple as that perhaps even trivial, but mathematics has a name for it too - principled Dricle, named after the nineteenth - century German mathematician Peter Dricle.

And when I was a college student, I remember, that a similar mathematical problem we solved and that was something like this: How many people should be minimally in a hall so that at least two of them can have the same birthday, are over 50 percent? And if I'm not wrong, the score is 23, but as you know, solving mathematical problems, it takes 3-4 pages to get to this final number.

Even in ancient Greece, so when Plato founded the Academy in Athens, he wrote on the entrance to the building: “Let's not enter here who doesn't know geometry”. This academy then gave the world what is known as the Father of Logica, Aristotle, who with its philosophical categories, and especially the causality, the Law of Cause, had such an impact on anyone who came after him in the field of philosophy or science.

I remembered these, a little from my experience, and a little of what math lessons are, since math and physicists are generally preferred to speak with math. Even when they are young, like your work, they are at the very age of math, because math trends are generally displayed and usually from childhood and youth. But what is this math language? For Galileo Galileo, mathematics is the language with which the great book of nature is written. So it belongs to those physicists who believe that they intercede between nature and mathematics, and that math is the language of nature.

So math as the language of the universe itself, as Einstein did when he said that “Equations are more important to me because politics is for the present, but an equation is something for the eternity”. As you know, I haven't fully respected this Einstein principle, since I've chosen politics, maybe not entirely myself, this choice is entirely mine. Here I came, going through math school, since when I was about your age and then, inspired first by my teacher, Nazije Deva, and then by math teacher Tap Sylejmani, and finally by my math professors when I went to study the Faculty of Electronics in Telekomunication and Computers, where there was a lot of mathematics, which obviously influenced me beyond my consciousness and my knowledge.

Math has been of use to me many times throughout my life, even in very difficult times, but even when I caught it, I was in prison or house arrest or in detention, also solving systems of equations with some unknowns, so that I could keep my memory and mind as fresh and active as possible and thus preserve logic.

To the extent that we have respect for mathematics, to that extent we will also cultivate logic. So being a mathematician or a mathematician means being not only a responsible citizen of the Republic but also an outstanding one in logic. I have the impression that we live in times where this is necessary as rarely other times. Even math helps us in politics because numbers know how to be very stubborn, and they need to be well calculated for the state budget, economic growth, and social distribution.

honoured ones,

One of the main pillars for Kosovo's sustainable economic and social development is quality education. For this reason, the government has allocated 3.5m euros for providing professional practice to students of education and professional training, 106 scholarships to encourage girls to attend technical profiles and boys to attend deficit profiles, as well as about 1,000 vouchers for professional school seniors to attend information technology courses. To close the existing gender gap in professions, 1365 university scholarships for students in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics were divided in the academic year 2021/2022, or StEAM.

The government and Kosovo institutions are focused on better plans and programmes, to provide maximum opportunities in achieving the highest potential for young and young, for the present, but also for the future of our country.

Dear students and students,

Today I am very happy that you, like young mathematicians and physicists, have won first, second and third seats, as you have won gold, silver and bronze medals, and other awards in both the local and international races. So I was very pleased to respond to the invitation of the Minister of Education to be part of this organization where you will receive the well-deserved rewards for the successes shown in these math and physics contests.

In the hope that these rewards will be additional incentives for you to continue pursuing your trends and passions for numbers, measurements, problem resolution, thinking, arithmetic and logic, geometry, and algebra, for mathematics and physics, that school lessons and foolish knowledge then translate into valuable inventions, creative innovations and functional methods everywhere you work in the future.

Thank you for bringing us good news in Kosovo, which is good for our country's present and future. Congratulations again on the results of the success shown and wants you all good, and more success in your future, on which the future of our state and society depends.

Thank you.
