With the Certificate of Participants ceremony, the project, implemented by the Office for Community Affairs in the Office of the Prime Minister, supported by the Norwegian Embassy, has been completed, which has benefited practical work experiences in 100 new and new institutions from all communities in Kosovo.
Youth continues to be the focus of our government policies and our public commitments, because our future development depends greatly on how we help and treat our youth, not forgetting that the average age in the Republic of Kosovo is only 31, said Republic of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, in his address, announces his office.
The prime minister reiterated that Government is committed to increasing employment skills, with different policies, such as the one launched over the summer “one employed in each family”.
So no family in our country is left without at least one employee. And as we are living the employment scheme guaranteed for young people, in the Economic Resurrection Pack, we are continuing to support the projects of youth organisations, he said.
The prime minister stressed that for increasing jobs and easing youth inequality, from this school year we have started offering dual education to four profiles, so that we can connect the labour market, that is, job needs with software, educational system curriculums, skills and professional education, respectively. Thus the connection and bridge of the skills gap are targeted and the replacement for employment migration.
For this reason, the government has allocated 3.5m euros for providing professional practice to students of education and professional training, 106 scholarships to encourage girls to attend technical profiles and boys to attend deficit profiles, as well as about 1,000 vouchers for professional school seniors to attend information technology courses. To close the existing gender gap in professions, in the 2021/2022 academic year, 1365 university scholarships have been set up for students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, or as STAM is otherwise known.
It stressed at this ceremony that Government and institutions are focused on developing better plans and programmes to offer maximum opportunities in achieving the highest potential for young people and young people, for the present, but also for their future, and for our country.
