Kurti: Our people trust women as many as men, so the Supreme Commander has been appointed Vjosa Osman

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, during the International Forum Women, Peace and Security, has said that the people of Kosovo trust women as much as men do.

He said that when it comes to security issues, citizens and institutions have appointed as Supreme Commander, the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.

According to Kurt, women respond to daily calls for peace and security, as if it were their life effort, for according to him, women are more interested in peace and security policies because they are also threatened mostly by lack of these elements.

There has been no phase that women are engaged in calling and trying for freedom and peace. The engagement of women and girls in Kosovo has never been missed in state-building, but it is not missing even in the functioning of our daily state”.

“have kept megaphone, bread and pencil in hand with the only request, peace but peace for all. For themselves but also for their children, for the state and the future”, Kurti has been expressed.

In addition, the first of the government said that the number of women serving in the KSF and the Kosovo Police is substantial, but must also increase further.

There is no greater guarantee of peace and security except to be realised by women and men together but also no alternative. It is the greatest guarantee, the most just and most powerful possible. More women in KSF mean better promotion and realisation of human rights, but also of minorities”.
