Kurti says 400,000 new jobs have opened for two years.

“Armanding businesses for the January-August 2022 period has marked growth of 21.6% compared to the same period in 2021 and 67.9% compared to 2020. As a result, in 2021 we had 25 thousand more jobs registered than the previous one, and from January to August of this year we have 150,000 more jobs”, Kurti wrote on Facebook.

According to Kurti, exports with his government have also tripled, compared to the period when past governments have led.

“Export over January-September 2022, we have it for 25.6% higher compared to the same period last year. The average annual export growth during the January-September 2008-2020 period is 15.7%, while the average export growth in the same two years and during our government is 47.3%. So, with our government exports in this period have increased threefold faster than compared to the years past governments have led”, he added.

Kurti has said that through the Economic Renewal Pack, local businesses have helped expand production and processing capacities so that local production, export employment can increase.

In addition to direct subsidies, Kurti has stressed that they are helping businesses through lowering the cost of doing business.

“E this week, goods laundering began at the Durres Port. This will lower costs for businesses and consumers for about 2m euros, as well as the time of the distribution”.

According to him, foreign direct investments in Kosovo continue to increase during its governance.

This year's “in the January-July period, the value of foreign direct investments has exceeded 400m euros. So 47% more compared to the same period in 2021 and 99% more than in 2020”, he added.
