KFOR speaks for Periscope: Avoid Violence

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has indicated that his government will not postpone the decision on car plates, even though the US and the EU had made such a request recently, writes Periscope. Are we risk having more targae tensions after this rejection made by the country's prime minister [...]
Whether we risk having more targae tensions after this rejection made by the country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, KFOR has indicated in a written answer to Periscope.
KFOR has urged that all actions leading to escalation or unnecessary violence be avoided.
“It is essential to avoid unilateral actions and initiatives that could lead to unnecessary escalation or violence”.
According to them so far, they have not had any evidence of any evidence that could cause concern, in which they have announced that all sides are working hard to resolve them.
Full response from KFOR;
The current “situation is characterized by various issues, each of which has a political nature. We know that all sides are working hard to resolve them, but we don't have details so far. KFOR commander remains in close contact with all involved, including representatives of institutions in Kosovo, the Kosovo Security Organisation and the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.
So far we have no evidence of any fact that could fuel concern and there have been no changes in the stance of the NATO-led KFOR mission.
KFOR carries out its mission, based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 in 1999, closely monitoring the situation on the ground and is willing to act if stability, security and freedom of movement are hampered. It is vital to avoid unilateral actions and initiatives that could lead to violence or unnecessary overpass.”, KFOR's written response to Periscope is said.
Otherwise, we remember that on July 31st the decision on the documents and the decision on the license plates had produced tensions where Serbian illegal criminal structures had hampered the implementation of this decision, meanwhile, the Kurti Government had been backed after US Ambassador Jeff Houvenier had applied for a 30-day extension./ P ERISCOPIA
