With investments made in the distribution network, digitisation to transformation of lines, KEDS has gone from the traditional electrical network to a massively digitized network. Intervention on the electricity distribution network in Kosovo from 2013 to today, not only has it been successful in mobilizing it, optimising it as a digital platform, always according to the newest technological standards, but it has also been translated into a necessary and innovative mechanism.
KEDS capital investments in the distribution network, electricity accounts and wherever it has been needed to have a stable network, since then, reached the amount of 203m euros. Above all, investments in practice have also contributed to a reduction in energy losses by 40 percent.
KEDS is committed to reducing losses further, through checks and through continued investments in the distribution network, always for the future of our electric industry.
