Price has said the US, along with other partners, has made it clear that they require a full postponement.
“E have made it clear that Kosovo should postpone the implementation period. We are desperate and concerned that the Government of Kosovo has rejected the request and advice of the closest international partners for implementation”, Ned Price has said.
He has since been asked about the new Kosovo Government's decision to split into several phases the implementation of such a decision, has said the US has been clear both publicly but privately and has called for full postponement.
“We have been clear both publicly and privately that the US and other allies require full delay of implementation. We require partial implementation or implementation in phases. The international community has asked Kosovo for a full extension of implementation”, Ned Price has said, adding that discussions are still continuing.
