The Serbian Progressive Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia have made public the names of ministers of Serbia's new government, which will be led by Ana Brnabiq.
Socialist leader Ivica Dacic will be minister of foreign affairs, head of the Security Services Co-ordination Bureau and first deputy prime minister. He returns after two years to the top of Serbian diplomacy.
Branislav Shasic, former director of the Information Security Agency (BIA), will be Serbia's new Interior Affairs Minister. Milos Vuchevic, former Novi Sad leader and senior member of the Serbian Progressive Party, will take the lead in the Ministry of Defence and will also have the post of deputy prime minister.
Sinisa Malli will continue to lead the Ministry of Finance and will also be deputy prime minister. Meanwhile, Maja Popovovic will also continue to be justice minister.
The changes are in the leadership of several other dictatorships, including the European Integration Ministry, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Energy and Trade.
The new Serbian government will also have ministers without portfolios, but two ministers from the minority ranks as well. Hussein will be Minister of Tourism and Youth. He was enemies of the Sandzak Democratic Party list.
Meanwhile, Tomislav Dignovo, chairman of the Croatian Democratic Union of Vojvodina, will lead the Ministry for Mine Rights and Social Dialogue.
The Progressive Party and the Socialist Party have the necessary numbers in Parliament to form Government. Parliament is expected to elect the new Government next week.
The new Serbian government will have 25 ministries, or four more than the preliminary executive.
Serbia held parliamentary elections on April 3rd. Final election results were announced on July 5th because elections were repeated at several polling stations in southern Serbia. / REL
