Hoti: Government lowers taxes, flow in the economy is decreasing

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti has said the Kosovo government is not lowering taxes for the country's citizens. He, by means of a post on the social network Facebook, has compared Germany, in which he has shown that this country has decided to lower its tax value added [...]
He, through a post on the social network Facebook, has drawn a comparison with Germany, in which he has shown that this country has decided to lower its gas-added tax and heating from 19 per cent to seven per cent, starting on October 1st, 2022 to April 2024.
In Kosovo's case, there are three actions that ease the crisis, but that are missing from March. Pay index, subsidies in agriculture, pensions and social aid with the inflation rate”.
“The minimum wage rate in the private sector, VAT reduction from 18% to 8% per oil, and for some food products still at 18% T VSH, as well as the temporary suspension of excise in oil”, wrote Hoti.
Hoti has said tax failure is reducing circulation in the economy.
“If hundreds of millions of euros had been introduced into the economy through capital projects, along with lowering taxes, aggregate demands would have been increased and the deepening of the” crisis would have been prevented.
All these measures present no problem for the budget deficit, as the government's banking balance is a high record. These actions can be taken immediately, and I'm sure they have the support of all sides”, Hoti said.
