Haradinaj: I ask Kurt to reconsider his decision on license plates, and there may be consequences for the country

AKRAK leader Ramush Haradinaj has asked Prime Minister Albin Kurti to heed the advice of friendly countries, following his decision on the license plates.

Haradinaj, via a Facebook text, said Prime Minister Kurti's recent decision on the license plates is a short-term decision, which could also have consequences for the country.

“It is unacceptable when we ask the most powerful democracies of the world to help us end centuries-old disputes with Serbia, and just when they are at the peak of engagement, our prime minister acts in property and without co-ordination with strategic partners”, Haradinaj wrote.

On the other hand, he said Prime Minister Kurti should carefully analyse his steps, and asked him to reconsider his decision on the license plates.

The prime minister must carefully analyse his steps, and in this vital phase for the country should be in full harmony with America and the EU. So I ask him to reconsider his decision of license.

I want to believe that the expressed disappointment of our partners with this decision of the prime minister will have no consequences for the excellent relations Kosovo has with them”, he said.
